There’s a saying in Spanish that says “Dime con quien andas y te digo quien eres (Tell me who you walk with, and I’ll tell you who you are). Who we surround and align ourselves with has a huge influence on who and what we become. The same way running with the “wrong” crowd can get us into unnecessary trouble, rolling with the right crew can elevate us higher than we could ever imagine.

When going after our dreams or trying to accomplish goals it’s important to surround ourselves with people who believe in our dreams, encourage our ideas, support our ambitions, and bring out the best in us. These are the people you want by your side while climbing that long arduous ladder to success. The energy we surround ourselves with seeps into everything we do and if we are constantly surrounded by people who complain and only see the glass as half full we will eventually succumb to that type of energy.
